Refund Specialist

Reporting to the General Manager and/or Operations Manager, the Refund Specialist is responsible for qualifying people and then educating them about the government refund they may be eligible to apply for. Currently that includes Employment Insurance (EI) refunds for family businesses and Disability Tax Credits for people with health impairments. Prospective customers are provided by Grants International. You will be ensuring that leads qualify and be educating qualified leads over the phone about the refund program and closing the sale by obtaining signed Service Agreements. Grants International will provide comprehensive training for the right individual.

You must be able to think on your feet. The skills you bring include an effective teleselling voice, the ability to empathize with people and respond appropriately to different customer communication styles. You can resolve objections while acting in a self-confident, patient and helpful manner. You are customer focused, persuasive, enthusiastic, personable, dependable, reliable and able to work well within a team.

You must be available to work some evenings and Saturday days during our busy periods (February 1 to June 30 and September 1 to December 31 each year).
